Role Overview:

As an Experienced Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you’ll be a vital part of a caring team making a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in home care or a related field.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Flexibility to adapt to clients’ changing needs.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification in CPR/First Aid.
2. Have training in dementia care.
3. Are bilingual, especially in Spanish.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full Time and Part Time opportunities, with availability needed throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is based on-site in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
