Caregiver

Role Overview:

Urgent Need for client in Placentia, CA. . $18-$21 per hour and this case will start immediately. Wed/Sat/Sun from 11am-7pm or 2pm-9pm.

As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to our clients, particularly assisting a female client who is bedbound. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure our clients receive the best care possible. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to support our clients daily and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with repositioning, diaper changes, and toileting for clients.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
3. Carry out daily living activities to ensure client comfort and safety.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with the caregiving team to share updates on client care and progress.

Qualifications:

You’re a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or related field.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
3. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
4. Ability to follow care plans and provide exceptional service.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including the specified schedule of 11am-7pm on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR/First Aid.
2. Are trained in advanced dementia care or similar specializations.
3. Possess experience in a team-based care environment.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with a schedule that includes Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11am-7pm, and occasional shifts from 2pm-9pm as needed.
