Role Overview:

As a Personal Care Assistant at Homewatch Caregivers of St Louis, you will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities to enhance the well-being and independence of our clients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure that each client receives personalized care that reflects their unique needs. This is an on-site position, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming to promote hygiene and comfort.
2. Provide companionship to clients, helping to combat loneliness and enhance overall well-being.
3. Assist with mobility and physical activities as needed to ensure clients maintain their independence.
4. Implement person-centered plans of care tailored to each client’s specific needs.
5. Communicate effectively with clients and their families to foster clear and trusting relationships.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Ability to follow care plans and adjust care based on individual client needs.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
4. Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining quality care.
5. Experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus, but not required; we provide training.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Are familiar with assistive devices or adaptive equipment.
3. Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel to client homes.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in clients' homes in the St. Louis area.
