Assisting Hands Home Care in San Antonio provides non-medical, in-home care for seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals needing post-operative support. Our licensed, bonded, and trained caregivers offer personalized services including companionship, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and 24/7 care.

Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients to ensure they receive care that respects their choices and preferences, always maintaining their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist clients with meal preparation and medication reminders.
3. Engage clients in meaningful companionship activities to enhance their quality of life.
4. Monitor and document client progress and changes in health status.
5. Collaborate with other caregiving staff to ensure comprehensive care is delivered to clients.

Qualifications:

2. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Dependable and reliable, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
4. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt to individual client needs.

Bonus If You:

1. Have CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Speak multiple languages, enhancing communication with clients.
3. Possess a reliable means of transportation for travel between clients' homes.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position, with availability throughout the week including weekends.
