Role Overview:

As a Live In Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and personalized in-home care to clients as needed.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, and meal preparation.
3. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the caregiving team.
4. Create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with health professionals and family members to ensure a coordinated care approach.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Must have NJ CHHA certification
2. Experience in caregiving or a related field, demonstrating compassion and commitment.
3. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and their families.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Possess experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full Time, with availability including Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Edison, New Jersey.
