Job Overview:

Homewatch CareGivers of St. Pete Beach is currently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for overnight, in-home care. If you're a CNA looking to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients in their own homes during nighttime hours, we want to hear from you. You'll work one-on-one with clients, providing hands-on assistance, comfort, and safety monitoring while they rest.

This role is perfect for experienced CNAs who value consistency, compassion, and personalized care—and prefer the calm, focused environment of overnight work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with evening and nighttime routines, including toileting, hygiene, and mobility support
• Respond to overnight needs such as repositioning, restroom assistance, or medication reminders
• Observe and monitor client safety, behavior, and overall well-being throughout the night
• Offer emotional reassurance and comfort if the client wakes during the night
• Maintain detailed documentation and promptly report any changes in condition to the care team
• Support a clean, quiet, and secure environment to promote restful sleep

Required Qualifications:

• Active Florida CNA license
• CPR/BLS certification (current)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background check
• At least 21 years of age
• Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and remain alert and responsive throughout overnight shifts
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Experience:

• Previous overnight or dementia care experience
• Familiarity with mobility equipment and safe transfer techniques
• Compassionate approach and patience when working with older adults

Shift Information:

• Schedule: Overnight shifts (typically 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM; exact times may vary)
• Availability: Weekday and weekend availability preferred
• Employment Type: PRN
• Location: St. Pete Beach, FL (in-home care only)
• Service Area: We serve a wide area including St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, Tierra Verde, Seminole, Largo, and Pinellas Park
