AM Caregiver

Role Overview:

As a Home Care Aide at Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults in the Austin area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated office team to ensure that clients receive compassionate and person-centered care. Whether on a full-time or part-time schedule, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide medication reminders to clients.
2. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
3. Support clients with mobility and daily routines.
4. Provide companionship and emotional support.
5. Assist with errands and transportation to appointments.
6. Deliver Alzheimer’s and Dementia care support as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience as a caregiver or in a related field.
2. Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
3. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
4. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
5. Willingness to undergo training and background checks.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
2. Possess certifications in caregiving or related fields.
3. Are familiar with Alzheimer’s and Dementia care techniques.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time shifts, with flexible scheduling available on weekdays.

Location:

This position is on-site only and is located in South Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas.
