HHA Hourly Driver - 12 Hour Shifts

Homewatch CareGivers of South Orange seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to work with a client in Short Hills.

Schedule: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, available for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a meaningful relationship with your client and provide companionship and support
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, toileting, dressing, oral hygiene, transferring, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders
• Ensure safety and supervision of your client
• Must be willing to drive and accompany client to appointments, outings, etc. May use client's car or employee's personal vehicle.

Candidate Requirements:

• MUST have an active New Jersey HHA Certification
• Two (2) valid forms of ID
• PPD (within 12 months), QuantiFERON Gold (within 12 months), or Chest X-ray
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check
• Valid Drivers License, a reliable vehicle, proof of registration & auto insurance
• Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible, and a team player
• 1+ year of prior experience as a Home Health Aide preferred, but not required
