Role Overview

As a CNA – Overnight PRN with BrightStar Care of Plano/North Dallas, you’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in their homes during overnight hours. You’ll play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night while working closely with our clinical team to ensure quality care.

This is a great opportunity for a dependable CNA who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and takes pride in providing attentive, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support throughout overnight hours.
• Monitor clients and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow the client’s individualized care plan and all company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, families, and the care team.
• Respond appropriately to client needs and changes throughout the shift.
• Promote client dignity, independence, safety, and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Required:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Texas.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to meet client scheduling needs.
• Previous experience in home care, private duty, assisted living, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently while following a plan of care and communicating with the clinical team.
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate approach to client care.

Bonus If You Have

• Previous overnight or private-duty caregiving experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience caring for clients with complex or specialized needs.
• Fluency in a language other than English.

Employment Type & Availability

Part-Time | PRN

Overnight availability is required, including weekends and holidays as client needs arise. PRN hours are not guaranteed and are based on client needs and your availability.

Location

Dallas, Texas

This is an in-home, on-site position providing care directly in the client’s home.
