Role Overview:

As a Dedicated Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. This position is on-site only, allowing you the opportunity to directly impact the lives of those within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Record and report changes in client’s condition to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
4. Compassionate approach to care and understanding of clients’ needs.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in first aid or CPR.
2. Are fluent in any language aside from English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full Time and Part Time, with shifts available every day of the week.

Location:

We are looking for candidates in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, as this is an in-person position.
