Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Home Helpers of Modesto, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized in-home care to seniors and adults in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to support individuals in maintaining their independence, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable at home. Whether on a full-time or part-time schedule, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others while working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and support, fostering a positive and fulfilling environment.
3. Help clients with transportation to appointments or social activities.
4. Monitor and document clients' well-being and communicate any changes to the appropriate team members.
5. Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a background in healthcare is preferred.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families in English and Spanish.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, dedicated attitude towards caregiving.
4. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
5. CNA certification is a plus but not required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
2. Possess first aid and CPR certifications.
3. Have a strong ability to multitask and prioritize client needs effectively.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required across Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Modesto, California.
