Job Overview:

Homewatch CareGivers of St. Pete Beach is currently hiring weekend and on-call caregivers (Certified Nursing Assistants or Home Health Aides) for in-home care. If you’re a CNA or HHA who thrives on flexibility, enjoys variety, and wants to make a meaningful difference when clients need you most, we’d love to connect with you. You’ll provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and support during weekend shifts and when called to fill in.

This role is perfect for caregivers who are dependable, adaptable, and ready to step in when extra support is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care, grooming, hygiene, and mobility support
Provide help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands as needed
Monitor client safety, comfort, and overall well-being during shifts
Respond promptly to on-call assignments and adapt to varying client needs
Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in condition to the care team

Required Qualifications:

Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Ability to pass a Level 2 background check
At least 21 years of age
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in home care or on-call scheduling
Familiarity with mobility equipment and safe transfer techniques
Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Shift Information:

Schedule: Primarily weekend shifts and on-call availability for weekdays/evenings as needed
Availability: Flexibility to respond to short-notice or fill-in assignments
Employment Type: Part-time with potential for additional hours
Location: St. Pete Beach, FL (in-home care only)
Service Area: St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, Tierra Verde, Seminole, Largo, and Pinellas Park
