Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Ventura, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure client needs are met compassionately and effectively. Whether you work in full-time or part-time hours, you’ll have the flexibility to maintain a schedule that works for you while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement personalized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
2. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
3. Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with meal planning.
4. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
5. Document and report changes in client health or behavior to the team.

Qualifications:

You’re a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous caregiving or home health experience.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
4. Compassionate and patient approach to care.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certification in CPR or first aid.
2. Are bilingual, especially in languages other than English.
3. Possess specialized training related to senior care or disability support.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part-Time, and availability includes weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Ventura, California.
