HHA - Full-Time

Homewatch CareGivers of South Orange is hiring Certified Home Health Aides to join our team!

Daytime M-F & Weekend positions available for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with your client
• Provide companionship and support
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, toileting, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders
• Ensure safety and supervision of your client
• For drivers, be willing to drive and accompany clients to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands

Candidate Requirements:

• MUST have an active New Jersey HHA Certification
• Two (2) valid forms of ID
• PPD (within 12 months), QuantiFERON Gold (within 12 months), or Chest X-ray
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check
• For drivers: Valid Drivers License, a reliable vehicle, proof of registration & auto insurance
• Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible, and a team player
• 1+ year of prior experience as a Home Health Aide preferred, but not required
