Role Overview:

As a Professional In-Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of South Fort Lauderdale, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with family members to ensure the comfort and dignity of the individuals you support, helping them enjoy the best quality of life possible. This position is on-site only, providing you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Medication reminders, Encourage independence and activities of interest.
3. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor towards clients and their families.
2. Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Prior experience in home care or a related field is preferred.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certification in HHA or CNA, CPR and First Aid.
2. Are knowledgeable about senior care best practices.

Employment Type & Availability:

This schedule is flexible based on your availability, Punctuality and commitment to agreed schedule is a must.

Location:

This position is on-site Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, West Park, Miramar Pembroke Pines - Florida.
