Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. You will enjoy the flexibility of scheduling your shifts based on client needs and your own availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation to enhance their emotional well-being.
2. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with dietary requirements.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
5. Provide medication reminders and support with mobility and transfers.
6. Assist clients with transportation and errands as needed.
7. Support clients with their daily activities, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and dependable nature.
2. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
3. Ability to work independently in clients’ homes.
4. Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
5. Ability to meet applicable background checks and licensing requirements.

Bonus If You:

1. Are fluent in languages other than English.
2. Have prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
3. Possess additional certifications in home care or first aid.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available. Shifts may be scheduled for days, evenings, overnight, and weekends based on client needs.

Location:

This position is on-site only, serving clients in Folkston, Georgia.
