Evening Caregiver

Position Summary:

The Part-Time Caregiver provides consistent, compassionate, non-medical support to a regular roster of clients, helping them live safely and comfortably at home. This flexible position is well-suited to caregivers seeking a schedule that fits around other commitments while still making a meaningful difference in clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, accounting for dietary restrictions
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful, personalized activities
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices
• Provide medication reminders (not administration, unless certified/permitted by state law)
• Monitor and promptly report changes in client condition to the Care Manager
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided at each visit
• Build consistent, trusted relationships with a regular caseload of clients
• Follow each client's individualized care plan and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (personal, professional, or CNA/HHA certification a plus)
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to commit to a consistent full-time schedule
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and required health screenings
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/assist clients up to 50 lbs with proper technique
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout a full shift
• Comfortable working in clients' homes, including with pets
