Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance to clients, including help with daily living activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
2. Foster meaningful connections with clients to enhance their quality of life and emotional well-being.
3. Administer medication reminders and assist clients with mobility and transportation needs.
4. Document and report changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate team members.
5. Collaborate with your teammates to ensure individualized care plans are effectively implemented, meeting each client's unique needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong desire to help others.
2. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to speak English fluently.
4. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
5. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a variety of home environments.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR or First Aid.
2. Possess training in elderly care or special needs assistance.
3. Are bilingual, providing the ability to serve a broader range of clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This is an on-site position located in Leander, Texas.
