Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support necessary for our clients’ well-being. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to accommodate different schedules while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating.
2. Provide companionship and conversation while engaging clients in enjoyable activities.
3. Remind clients to take their medications and manage their schedules.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
5. Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands, fostering their independence.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
2. Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English.
3. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.
4. Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred, but not required.
5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a previous certification in caregiving or a related field.
2. Are experienced with specialized care techniques (e.g., Alzheimer's care).
3. Possess first aid and CPR certifications.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts, available throughout the week.

Location:

This position is onsite only in Glynn County, Georgia.
