Role Overview:

As a Weekend Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing personalized in-home care services that allow our clients to maintain their independence and comfort at home. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to implement tailored care plans and ensure a positive experience for the clients we serve in Altamonte Springs and surrounding areas. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting needs.
2. Assist clients with companionship and social interaction to foster emotional well-being.
3. Help clients with meal preparation, including dietary needs and preferences.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
5. Provide transportation assistance for clients for errands or appointments as needed.
6. Document and report changes in client’s condition or care needs to the appropriate team members.
7. Engage in respite care for family caregivers to provide them relief.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor in providing care.
2. Excellent communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
3. Experience in home care or related fields preferred.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Possess additional training in handling specific client needs (e.g., dementia, mobility assistance).

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required on weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
