We’re looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to join our mission as a part-time contractor, with full-time potential down the road. This isn’t a typical role – it’s an opportunity to take the lead on major initiatives, shape the product, and grow with us as we onboard some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Platform Ownership: Take full ownership of the development pipeline, ensuring our platform remains secure, scalable, and performant.
• Background Check Integration: Lead the next big milestone by integrating a new background check provider seamlessly into the platform.
• Enterprise-Ready Scaling: Implement robust solutions to handle an expanding user base, ensuring high availability and top-notch performance.
• SOC 2 Compliance: Collaborate with leadership to prepare the platform for SOC 2 compliance in 2025, driving secure practices and documentation.
• Integrations: Expand our platform by connecting to job boards, CRMs, and other critical third-party tools.
• DevOps Leadership: Optimize our AWS infrastructure to enable smooth scaling, load balancing, and cost-effective performance.
• Communicating: Perhaps the most important part of your job will be communicating with non-technical executives and stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Extensive Laravel Experience: Expertise in Laravel 11, with a proven ability to architect scalable, maintainable systems.
• Database Proficiency: Deep knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization and complex data relationships.
• AWS DevOps Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional Portfolio: A proven track record of delivering complex projects with measurable impact. We care deeply about your past work—be ready to showcase the projects you’re proudest of.
• Self-Starter Mentality: You work efficiently, solve problems independently, and deliver high-quality results on time. You will wear many hats effectively.

Location:

• This is a flexible, remote role for candidates based in the U.S.
