Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support our clients need to maintain their independence. You will work on-site in Glynn County, Georgia, with flexible hours that can accommodate your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, mobility, and hygiene.
2. Provide companionship through conversation and company to enhance clients' emotional well-being.
3. Administer medication reminders and support clients with their healthcare needs.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties and errands to maintain a clean and safe environment.
5. Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure individual care plans are followed and updated as necessary.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
2. Empathy and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
3. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and their families.
4. Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of clients.
5. Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR or first aid.
2. Possess additional training in geriatric care.
3. Are bilingual, which can enhance communication with some clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities with flexible hours from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Glynn County, Georgia.
