Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Homewatch CareGivers, you will serve as the clinical lead for our home care services, delivering high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes while guiding and supporting our caregiving team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with caregivers, leadership, clients, and families to ensure safe, compliant, and compassionate care. You will play a key role in caregiver orientation, ongoing clinical oversight, and keeping policies and care practices aligned with best standards.

This is a part-time, position offering meaningful impact, professional autonomy, and the opportunity to shape high-quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care in the home, including wound care, IV therapy, medication management, and nutrition support.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop, update, and oversee individualized care plans.
• Monitor client progress, respond to clinical changes, and communicate findings to families and the care team.
• Serve as the clinical lead, providing guidance, oversight, and support to caregivers to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
• Lead and participate in caregiver orientation, clinical training, and competency guidance related to client care needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to review, update, and implement clinical policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Educate clients and families on health management, disease processes, and preventive care strategies.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards and quality expectations across all nursing services.
• Deliver clinical and educational presentations at senior communities, professional organizations, and community events as needed.

Partner with the interdisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of service, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications

You’re a great fit if you have:

An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.

Experience in home care or a similar setting (highly desirable).

A passion for compassionate, client-centered care and advocacy.

The ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent teamwork and leadership skills.

Bonus If You

Have certifications in geriatric care or related specialty areas.

Have experience with electronic health records or clinical documentation systems.
