Our caregivers provide more than basic assistance, delivering dependable, relationship-driven care that improves quality of life for both clients and their families. Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and dedicated care to our clients, particularly military veterans. In this role, you'll join a supportive team that values flexibility, meaningful connections, and a strong commitment to making a real difference in the lives of those who have served our country. You'll work on-site in Sparks, Nevada, where you will have the flexibility to tailor care schedules to meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
2. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, mobility assistance, and transportation to appointments.
3. Deliver specialized support for clients dealing with dementia or recovery after hospitalization.
4. Communicate regularly with clients and their families to assess ongoing needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
5. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills and maintain high-quality care standards.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate nature and ability to understand the needs of clients.
2. Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with clients and their families.
3. Prior experience in caregiving or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in first aid or CPR.
2. Are bilingual with proficiency in English and another language.
3. Possess specialized training in dementia care or other related fields.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full Time and Part Time, with flexible shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Sparks, Nevada.
