Role Overview

As a Part-Time RN/LPN at BrightStar Care, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one nursing care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You’ll work closely with our clinical and office teams to deliver safe, high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

This position offers the flexibility of a part-time schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to balance professional and personal commitments.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting based on each client’s individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor clients for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly.
• Accurately document care provided and changes in client status.
• Collaborate with clients, families, physicians, nurses, and the BrightStar Care clinical team.
• Assist with physician-ordered treatments and other skilled nursing needs.
• Promote each client’s comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable nurses who are committed to providing exceptional care.

Required:

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the State of Texas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected with the clinical team.
• Compassionate approach and genuine commitment to quality patient care.
• Reliable and professional demeanor.

Preferred:

• Previous home health or private-duty nursing experience.
• Experience working with medically complex clients.

Bonus If You Have

• IV or infusion therapy experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Weekday and weekend opportunities are available. Scheduling is designed to provide flexibility while meeting the needs of our clients.

This is an in-home, field-based position serving clients in the Rusk area.
