What You’ll Be Doing

This is not a “checklist” job—this is relationship-based care.

You will:

• Provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Safely assist with transfers and fall prevention
• Support a client with moderate to severe dementia, including redirection and behavior management
• Maintain structure and routine to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Monitor changes in condition and communicate with our care team
• Offer calm, reassuring companionship during both active and quiet hours

What We’re Looking For

This role requires confidence and experience.

• Dementia care experience is REQUIRED
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent in challenging situations
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to your schedule
• Comfortable working independently in a client’s home

Schedule & Location

• Weekends required (Saturday & Sunday)
• Day shifts and overnight shifts available
• Located in the Lakewood
