Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Lakewood, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality, and person-directed in-home care to our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to empower individuals to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their homes. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to tailor your schedule to the needs of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and respectful personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities, including and not limited to bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
3. Administer medications and observe client health, reporting any concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
4. Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being and stimulate cognitive function.
5. Collaborate with families to understand the unique needs and preferences of each client, ensuring personalized care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving, preferably with elderly clients.
2. Strong communication skills, including fluency in English.
3. Compassionate and reliable work ethic that aligns with our core values of reliability, compassion, and ethics.
4. Ability to adapt to various client needs and demonstrate patience in challenging situations.
5. Desired certifications in caregiving or related fields (e.g., CNA, HHA).

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional training in dementia care or other specialized fields.
2. Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
3. Are bilingual, which can enhance communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Lakewood, Colorado.
