Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well-being of those you care for. You’ll have the opportunity to impact the lives of others while fostering an environment of trust and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver personalized care and companionship to clients in their homes.
2. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
3. Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
4. Provide respite care to families, ensuring clients receive the attention they need.
5. Communicate effectively with families, updating them on client status and any changes.

Qualifications:

1. Compassionate and empathetic nature, truly caring for clients’ well-being.
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their families.
3. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow company protocols.
4. Experience in caregiving or a related field
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a background in personal care assistance or home health care.
2. Have experience with working with hospice clients
3. Have experience with emptying ostomy bags

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, with availability from Monday through Sunday. Shifts are 12 hours in length either 7am-7pm or 8am-8pm and will need to be available for 3 to 4 shifts per week.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Toluca, IL.
