About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home health company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do.

Role Overview:

As a Director of Nursing at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional home health care services. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive personalized and high-quality care. Working on site and in the field, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a passionate team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and mentor nursing staff to ensure compliance with care quality standards.
2. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient progress.
4. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
5. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and follow best nursing practices.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
2. Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
3. Strong knowledge of home health care policies and procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Bonus If You:

1. Hold a certification in nursing administration or a related field.
2. Have experience implementing quality improvement initiatives.
3. Are bilingual, specifically in a language other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of some on call time.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Tinley Park, Illinois.
