Laravel Developer

We are seeking a skilled Laravel developer to join our dynamic team at Nine Design, focusing on building high-quality web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Laravel 11, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering efficient and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications using Laravel 11 framework.
2. Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
3. Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
4. Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
5. Lead the entire web application development lifecycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
6. Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
7. Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
8. Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
9. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
10. Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development efforts.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2. Proven software development experience in PHP / Laravel.
3. Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies.
4. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services.
5. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook,, etc).
6. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
7. Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with Vue.js 3 is highly desirable.
2. Knowledge of Docker and AWS for development and deployment environments.
