Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure that each client's unique needs are met. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals who choose to remain independent in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver personalized in-home care to clients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
3. Monitor clients' conditions and needs, communicating any changes to the appropriate parties.
4. Help with light housekeeping tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to create and adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassion and empathy for individuals requiring care.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
5. Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with specific conditions such as stroke recovery, dementia or mobility issues.
2. Have availability in both mornings and evenings

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available with shifts available in the mornings and evenings Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, based in Lowpoint, IL
