About Us:

At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care to companion care. We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years and are passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that our clients enjoy the quality of life they deserve. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle and helps you make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating.
2. Offer companion care, which includes conversation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
3. Assist clients with transportation to appointments and recreational activities.
4. Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the care team.
5. Collaborate with the nursing staff to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Certification as a Nursing Assistant from an accredited program.
2. Compassion and understanding for the elderly and those in need of assistance.
3. Strong communication skills, specifically in English.
4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
5. Dependability and a strong work ethic.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working in home care or a similar environment.
2. Are bilingual, with proficiency in additional languages.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available every day of the week.

This position is an on-site role located in Camden County, Georgia.
