$23-25/hr · Monday–Friday daytime · On-site

You know what it's like when a shift falls apart, because you've been the caregiver on the other end of the call. Now we want you on the side that fixes it.

FirstLight Home Care of Boise is a growing agency looking for an experienced caregiver ready to step into scheduling and add value from day #1.

How the role works

Full-time. For your first two months you'll split your time between the office and client care while you learn our clients, caregivers, and systems. Then you move into full-time scheduling.

What you'll do

• Join a wonderful team and feel heard, valued and given the opportunity to influence and shape a growing team.
• Build and manage weekly schedules for our caregivers and clients
• Handle callouts and fill open shifts, often on short notice
• Match caregivers to clients based on skills, personality, and location
• Keep caregiver hours balanced to avoid overtime
• Help screen and schedule interviews for new caregivers
• Cover client shifts when needed

Required

• At least 1 year of paid caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, or similar)
• Comfortable with scheduling software and learning new systems (we use WellSky). We are a tech forward agency and need someone who can embrace technology.
• Clear, calm communication with families and caregivers by phone and text
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Bonus

• Any experience scheduling, coordinating shifts, or leading a team
• Familiarity with WellSky or similar home care software
