The company operates from its main office, yard, and mooring facilities located on the Intracoastal Waterway, one of the busiest harbors on the U.S. east coast.

Role Overview:

As a Project Management Assistant at Precon Marine Inc, you will be responsible for supporting project management activities crucial to the successful completion of marine construction projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to vital projects that have a lasting impact on maritime infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support project managers in organizing and executing project tasks and ensuring that each project phase is adequately and efficiently managed.
2. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgeting.
3. Coordinate project communications, documentation, and data to support project managers in making informed decisions.
4. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved.
5. Take ownership of administrative tasks and provide general support to ensure project success.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full Time, Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and based in Chesapeake, Virginia.
