Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical in-home support services to seniors, the disabled, and those in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure our clients receive the compassionate care and support they deserve. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a significant difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
3. Provide medication reminders to clients as needed.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
5. Engage in companionship activities that foster social interaction and emotional support.
6. Support clients with errands and transportation as required.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or equivalent experience.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to speak English fluently.
3. Compassion and a genuine interest in providing care to others.
4. Ability to maintain a calm and patient demeanor in challenging situations.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with senior populations or in-home care settings.
2. Possess additional certifications in caregiving or related fields.
3. Are familiar with basic first-aid or CPR.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required across all days of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Huntley, Illinois.
