Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will play a crucial role in providing in-home nonmedical care to clients in the Phoenix area. You will collaborate closely with a supportive team to deliver personalized care that enhances our clients' quality of life. Whether you're assisting with daily living activities or providing emotional support, you'll be a valuable member of our caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and support to clients, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
2. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
3. Provide medication reminders and assist clients with technology as needed.
4. Monitor client safety and wellbeing, providing standby assistance while walking and during transfers.
5. Maintain a respectful and compassionate environment that promotes client dignity and independence.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
2. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage with clients patiently and positively.
3. Ability to follow instructions and provide assistance with physical transfers.

Bonus If You:

1. Have training or experience in specialized care techniques related to dementia or Parkinson's.

Employment Type & Availability:

This client specifically has a schedule of Thursdays and Fridays from 8 am to 8 pm. We can also staff you with other clients for more hours.

Location:

This client is on-site only in 85086 (North Phoenix), but we service clients all over the North Valley.
