We provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and specialized support for individuals living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other chronic conditions.

Role Overview:

As a Babysitter at Homewatch CareGivers, you will be responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care to children in the comfort of their home. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure a safe and nurturing environment, while fostering development and providing engaging activities. Whether you work on-site in Austin, Texas, you'll have the flexibility to create a meaningful impact in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Engage children in various educational and recreational activities that promote their development.
3. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and tidying up the play areas after use.
4. Collaborate with families to create routines that suit their unique needs and preferences, fostering a supportive and trusting relationship.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in childcare or babysitting, with a solid understanding of child development.
2. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
3. Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families.
4. Ability to manage time effectively, establishing daily routines that benefit the family.
5. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each child and family.

Bonus If You:

1. Have CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Are bilingual, with additional languages to enhance communication with diverse families.
3. Possess a background in education or related fields.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is flexible, available Monday through Friday.

This position is on-site only in Austin, Texas.
