Weekend Warrior – One-on-One Home Care

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Pay: $17.00–$23.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Required Schedule: Three shifts every weekend, scheduled between Friday and Monday

Expected Hours: Average of 20 or more hours per week

If you have experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), put your skills to work helping clients stay comfortable, safe, and independent at home.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who prefers weekend work and can commit to regular coverage each week.

Weekend Schedule

• Three shifts required every weekend
• Shifts scheduled within the Friday–Monday period
• Average of 20 or more hours per week
• Day and evening assignments based on client needs
• Client assignments in Fort Wayne, IN
• Shift options coordinated with the scheduling team

Qualifications

• Current Indiana HHA credential required
• At least one year of home health experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• High school diploma or GED
• Availability to meet the three-shift weekend commitment
• Current CPR certification
• Physical examination and negative TB skin test within the past 12 months
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a drug test and motor vehicle background screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on care safely
• Strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Dependable attendance and commitment to client confidentiality

What You’ll Do

Bring your Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience to personalized care that supports each client’s weekend routines.

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Help clients with safe mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Perform mobility exercises as directed by the care plan.
• Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transportation to appointments as assigned.
• Follow each client’s individualized care plan.
• Document care and report changes to the nurse case manager.
• Protect client dignity, safety, and privacy.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and agency procedures.
