Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Ventura, you will be responsible for implementing personalized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated care team to ensure clients receive the compassionate support that aligns with our mission of improving the quality of home care across our communities. You’ll work on-site in Ojai, California, with a focus on providing high-quality care and fostering meaningful connections with those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement personalized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
2. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
3. Prepare nutritious meals and support proper dietary needs.
4. Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ well-being daily.
5. Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe home environment.
6. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful social activities.
7. Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
8. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in home care, senior care, or a related field.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR or first aid.
2. Possess training in specific caregiving techniques.
3. Are bilingual or multilingual, enhancing communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Ojai, California.
