Role Overview:

As an Experienced Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with your team to ensure clients receive the compassionate care they deserve. You will work on-site, providing hands-on support that directly impacts the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care services including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
3. Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
4. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
5. Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow personalized care plans that respect clients’ preferences and choices.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Compassionate and attentive, with a genuine concern for clients' welfare.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak English fluently.
4. Ability to work comfortably with a diverse range of individuals, including seniors and adults with disabilities.
5. Relevant certifications in caregiving, first aid, or CPR are preferred.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional training in geriatric care or related fields.
2. Possess knowledge of mobility assistance techniques.
3. Are bilingual or multilingual, offering additional communication skills to support clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include weekends.
