Visiting Angels is a company that hires caregivers to help with the Aging population's Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, walking, etc. We can also assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and more. Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels of WNC, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to seniors in the Asheville and surrounding counties/areas. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team to ensure the highest quality of life for our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
3. Assist with meal preparation and ensuring all dietary needs are met.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and family to provide updates on client care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
4. Dependable, trustworthy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification in First Aid or CPR.
2. Are bilingual, particularly in Spanish.
3. Have experience working with seniors or in a home care setting.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full Time and Part Time, with shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Asheville, North Carolina.
