About Us:

Assisting Hands Davis Weber is a veteran owned home care agency serving seniors who want to age safely in their own homes. We are based in Layton and serve all of Davis County and the surrounding Weber County area. Our mission is to provide compassionate, dependable in home care that allows seniors to age safely and with dignity in the place they love most, their own home.

Role Overview:

As a Personal Caregiver at Assisting Hands Davis, you will be responsible for providing non-medical personal care services to seniors, including companionship, assistance with daily activities, and mobility support. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to enhance their daily lives, ensuring they can age comfortably and safely in their own homes. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes.
2. Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
3. Support clients with mobility and provide necessary physical assistance.
4. Communicate regularly with clients and their families to ensure care meets their needs.
5. Uphold the values of integrity and compassion while providing care, treating each client with dignity.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Reliable and dependable nature with a passion for helping others.
2. Excellent communication skills in English.
3. A compassionate approach to client care and a commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors.
4. Previous experience in caregiving or a relevant certification is preferred.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
2. Possess first aid and CPR.
3. Current TB skin test.

Employment Type & Availability:

Part-time availability. We are looking for weekend and evening caregivers.

Location:

Weber and Davis County.
