Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure that their loved ones receive the high-quality care they deserve, helping to enhance their daily lives. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to clients.
2. Offer companionship and support to promote emotional well-being.
3. Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
4. Support clients with transportation to appointments and errands.
5. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by assisting with housekeeping duties.
6. Engage in meaningful activities to promote cognitive engagement and joy.

Qualifications:

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on client needs.
2. Strong ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Prior experience in caregiving or a related field.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles, with shifts available seven days a week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Newark, Ohio. Applicants must reside in Ohio.
