About Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda

Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda is a locally owned and operated home care company serving seniors, adults, and families across Greater Orange County, including parts of LA County and the Inland Empire.

We provide non-medical in-home care that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Our company was built from personal experience after navigating care for our own family members and seeing how inconsistent and reactive the industry can be. We created this company to raise the standard through proactive care, clear communication, strong training, and a team-based approach.

We are looking for someone who can help us grow by building real relationships in the senior care community.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Community Relations & Business Development Representative to develop referral relationships and generate new client opportunities throughout our service area.

This is a relationship-driven, field-based role. The right person will be comfortable getting out into the community, meeting with referral partners, following up consistently, and becoming a trusted local resource for families and professionals who need quality in-home care.

This is not a desk-only sales position. Success in this role comes from being visible, building trust, staying organized, and following through.

You will work closely with our leadership and care team to make sure referral partners and prospective clients receive responsive, professional, and compassionate service from the first conversation through the start of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including assisted living communities, memory care communities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, social workers, hospice agencies, home health providers, elder law professionals, fiduciaries, placement agencies, senior centers, and other local organizations.
  • Conduct regular in-person outreach, drop-ins, scheduled meetings, lunch-and-learns, in-services, community events, and networking activities.
  • Develop new referral sources while strengthening relationships with existing professional partners.
  • Follow up consistently with referral partners, prospective clients, and community contacts.
  • Identify new opportunities to educate families and professionals about in-home care options.
  • Communicate closely with the internal care team to help ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to consultation to start of care.
  • Track outreach activity, referral source contacts, leads, follow-up tasks, and results in the CRM.
  • Participate in weekly coaching, sales planning, and accountability meetings.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, warmth, urgency, and integrity.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder who enjoys meeting people, creating trust, and staying connected. This person should be comfortable walking into a facility, starting conversations, following up without being prompted, and becoming known in the local senior care community.

You may be a strong fit if you have experience in:

  • Home care sales or community relations
  • Senior living or assisted living sales/outreach
  • Hospice, home health, or healthcare liaison work
  • Placement agency or senior care referral work
  • Community outreach, relationship-based sales, or local business development

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, community relations, healthcare outreach, or a similar relationship-based role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with frequent in-person outreach and local travel throughout the service area.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage follow-up without constant direction.
  • Ability to build trust with referral partners, families, and internal team members.
  • Professional, polished, and comfortable representing the company in the community.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Existing relationships in the Orange County senior care, healthcare, hospice, home health, assisted living, or placement community.
  • Prior experience generating referrals in home care or a closely related senior care industry.
  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience with private-pay senior services.

Compensation

This position offers a $70,000–$80,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus an uncapped monthly commission and bonus plan tied to closed business and growth results.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events as needed for networking, community events, and referral partner engagement.

Location

This position is based out of our Yorba Linda office and requires regular field-based outreach throughout the local service area.

  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Mileage reimbursement

We are a locally owned, family-operated home care company serving seniors, adults, and families across the Greater Orange County area including parts of LA County and the Inland Empire. We provide non-medical in-home care that allows our clients to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

But what truly sets us apart isn’t just what we do, but it’s how we do it.

Our company was built from personal experience. After navigating care for our own family members, we saw firsthand how inconsistent and reactive the industry can be. We created this company to raise the standard, focusing on proactive care, real communication, and doing the right thing even when it’s harder.

We are not a “fill the shift” agency.

We invest heavily in our caregivers and our clients:

  • Hands-on training in our in-office training lab (including real equipment like hospital beds and lifts)
  • Ongoing education, including advanced dementia care and specialized programs and certifications
  • Consistent in-home visits to support both clients and caregivers; not just check a box
  • A team-based approach where caregivers are supported, heard, and set up to succeed

We also embrace innovation where it actually helps, using tools like virtual care technology, structured care planning, and proactive communication systems to improve outcomes for clients and make caregivers’ jobs easier.

For our team, that means:

  • You are part of a professional organization, not just picking up shifts
  • You will be trained, supported, and developed
  • Your work matters, and it’s recognized

We’re building something bigger than a typical home care agency; a company known for higher standards, stronger support, and better outcomes.

If you’re someone who takes pride in your work and wants to be part of a team that actually cares about doing things the right way, you’ll fit in well here.
