Our operations are based out of our main office, yard, and mooring facilities located on the Intracoastal Waterway, one of the busiest harbors on the U.S. east coast.

Role Overview:

As a Construction Project Manager at Precon Marine, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of various marine construction projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with project teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work on-site in Chesapeake, Virginia, ensuring effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
2. Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
3. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project alignment.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any on-site issues.
5. Implement and uphold safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a construction project manager, preferably in the marine or civil construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with proficiency in English.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification from a recognized project management organization (e.g., PMP, CCM).
2. Possess experience with underwater construction or diving operations.
3. Are proficient in project management software and tools.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Full-Time position, Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, based in Chesapeake, Virginia.
