Schedule

Monday–Friday

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• CNAs will always be paired—you will not be working alone

Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide compassionate, individualized care based on each client's needs and care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and linen changes
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Assisting with outdoor activities and shopping
• Supporting client mobility and performing active/passive exercises as directed by the care plan
• Assisting with total-care clients and Hoyer lift transfers
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition to the Director of Nursing
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for the client

Requirements

• Current CNA certification required
• 2–3 years of CNA experience required
• Resume demonstrating relevant experience
• Experience with total-care clients and Hoyer lifts required
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent care
• Team-oriented and professional
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray)
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle and proof of current auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties such as standing, walking, bending, and assisting with transfers

Important Information About This Assignment

This client and family have specific care expectations and are looking for an experienced CNA who is dependable, attentive, and comfortable providing total care.

A meet-and-greet/interview with the family is required before beginning the assignment. Selection for the position will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and compatibility with the client's needs.
