About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home care company that promotes well-being in the home. We provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that assist with a wide range of needs, from toileting and light housekeeping to companionship and skilled nursing care. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do, fostering a supportive and caring environment for both staff and clients.

Role Overview:

As the Director of Nursing at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered consistently. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of nurses and caregivers, developing and implementing policies that align with our commitment to excellence in home health care. Working on-site in Tinley Park, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and significantly impact the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct nursing operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
2. Manage training and evaluation of nursing staff to ensure quality care is provided.
3. Develop, maintain, and monitor nursing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
4. Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations of nursing services to ensure adherence to policies.
5. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
2. Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles in healthcare.
3. Strong understanding of home health regulations and best practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive team environment.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
2. Hold certifications in home health care or nursing administration.
3. Possess experience with quality improvement initiatives within healthcare.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is onsite only in Tinley Park, Illinois.
