Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home care company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round the clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do. The length of the shifts can be as short as two hours or as long as twelve hours.

Role Overview:

As a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional in-home patient care. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and established protocols.
2. Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition effectively.
3. Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding care plans and health management.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery and improve client outcomes.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
2. Experience in home health care or a similar setting.
3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full Time, with availability across all days of the week including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, based in the Hegewisch area of Chicago, Illinois.
