Caregiver / HHA

About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home health company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and individualized care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered, catering to a diverse set of client needs. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create meaningful connections with those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities such as toileting, grooming, and light housekeeping.
2. Provide companionship and support to clients, enhancing their emotional well-being.
3. Develop and follow personalized care plans as directed by Registered Nurses.
4. Monitor and report changes in client conditions to the nursing staff.
5. Support clients with safety and mobility assistance, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate nature and a desire to help others in need.
2. Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
4. CNA or HHA certification desirable, but not required.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time work, with shifts spanning every day of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only and based in and around Tinley Park, Illinois. Please note, this is a live-in caregiver position. Positions can be 3 to 5 days at a stretch.
