Job Overview

Homewatch CareGivers of Los Altos is seeking a bilingual English-Korean speaking caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care for a female client in San Jose, CA.

The caregiver will assist the client with basic activities of daily living (ADLs), household tasks, meal preparation, mobility, and companionship. We are looking for a reliable, patient, and caring professional who can communicate comfortably in both English and Korean.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic activities of daily living (ADLs)
Provide assistance with dressing and personal care
Assist with safe mobility and walking as needed
Prepare meals and assist with basic kitchen tasks
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment
Provide companionship and conversation
Encourage independence while providing appropriate assistance
Observe and report any significant changes in the client's condition
Follow the client's established care plan and agency policies
Maintain the client's privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times

Requirements

Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
At least 1 year of caregiving experience
Fluent or conversational English and Korean
Previous experience providing in-home or personal care preferred
Reliable and dependable
Compassionate, patient, and respectful
Able to assist with basic ADLs and mobility
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Current TB test/X-ray and other required caregiver documentation
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to complete required onboarding, training, and orientation
